Islamic-American
Zakat
Foundation (Last update 6-27-2009)
| Another medical
emergency resolved! Thanks to
all of you who helped
us to pay for the woman with an 8-year old child who has
had a stroke. Thanks to you we have been able to buy her a "stretcher
transportation" back to her homeland so the father will be free to
pursue work and so she
can get affordable medical care in her home country and be with her
family for support. We are thankful to Kuwait Air for cutting the fare
almost in half so that our donors and those of her local masjid could
pay for the tickets. Now that he no longer needs the room for his wife
and child, we would like to help the father move into a less expensive
apartment. If you would like to help you may click
here to donate or send your
donations by check to Islamic-American
Zakat Foundation, 4323 Rosedale Avenue, Bethesda, MD 20814. May Allah
reward you for your compassion. |
